RC Design is a boutique style marketing agency in downtown Newmarket.  The office features hardwood floors, exposed brick and tin ceilings. They are located in the heart of downtown Newmarket and are surrounded by great places to eat, grab a beverage after work, meet over coffee and enjoy the local green space.   They do both print and digital marketing based with a focus on creativity.  

Rob Clark is the owner/president of RC Design.  I chatted with him briefly about why he chose to locate a marketing agency in downtown Newmarket instead of downtown Toronto.  

EB: Rob, thanks so much for agreeing to be interviewed for this.  Can you tell me first though, a little about your company and what you guys do?

We’re a multidisciplinary design and marketing agency that develops goal-oriented strategies and solutions for our clients. We are an independent team of creative thinkers.

Our team’s competencies span across both traditional and digital platforms, including exceptional coding skills, best-in-class design abilities, focused digital marketing strategies and writing expertise for a seamless, integrative approach to all of our projects. We’re dedicated to finding new ways of linking technology, design and remarkable storytelling.

EB:  At RC Design, what kinds of careers are there for people? What kinds of skills do they need?

Our team consists of finance and bookkeeping, business developers, multidisciplinary designers, web developers, writers, digital marketers as well as account and projects managers.
